"This is a wonderful bike even aside from the fold up feature. It is sturdy, well built, comfortable, convenient size tires (like a hybrid), and is well suited for in town touring or short road trips. I have not taken it on a car or plane trip with me but it would be easy to do this. The really dedicated bikers here don't think much of it but it is perfect for me and for anyone who wants a comfortable unique bike. I have nothing bad to say about it. I fold it up and put it in the closet when I ride it to work. It shifts easily. The seat heighth and handle bar heighth or easily adjustable. This bike is well worth the money."

"I bought this bike 2 years ago, and I have been extremely satisfied with it. I have taken it on the city bus (check to see if your city allows this), and on camping trips. I have carried it in car trunks, backseats, and in my Jeep wrangler. It's easy to fold and unfold. An excellent around town bike, very comfortable to ride. You should be aware that the manufacturer recommends against using this as a trail bike, and it's not really geared for speed on a long flat ride...but in all other ways it's been a great bike!"

"In 20 miles of riding on dirt paths, up and down hills, and across streams, the bike performed flawlessly and held up to the hardest riding."

"I am just writing to say that your bike (Espresso) is wonderful. This bike has made my summer one of the best. I have traveled with and biked on several trails in five different states. This is something that I would have never done before because I will not subject my car to a bike rack. Thank you."

"I have been riding my Dahon Espresso for a few months now and love it. I don't drive a car, so this is great to get around town or put on the bus or trolley. I am not mechanical at all, and was glad to find out it is very easy to fold up when I need to."

"Last fall I purchased two of your bikes, the Espresso and the Mariner. They are without doubt the most versatile, user friendly, compatible, comfortable, rugged, and enjoyable bikes I have ridden. People marvel as we fold up TWO full size bikes and stuff them into the back of my tiny 318 BMW hatchback. What a trip!"

"I was very surprised by the ride, although I am slightly too tall (6'3" max) for the bike it rides as well as my Trek Hybrid, the gearing is ideal for the sharp hills where I live and is smooth and silent in operation. The Frame is sturdy and I have added some mudguards which don't interfere with the folding."

"I am the proud owner of 4 Dahon bikes. I have the Boardwalk 6, Mariner 20, Speed 8, and my latest the Espresso. I'm totally hooked and living in the NYC area, I get stopped on a daily basis by people who are impressed with these bikes. I spend more time showing them the features than actual riding, but I don"t min. Keep up the good work and who knows, a fifth bike might not be out of the question."

"I am totally sold on Dahon bikes. I have had my Espresso for a year and a half, and on a daily basis I cycle anywhere from 15 - 20 miles. I'd be lost without it!
