A steel hardtail for anything from flowing single track, to epic all day rides. Our good friend Joe Murray, mountain bike hall of famer, two-time U.S. mountain bike champion, and probably the most respected name in steel hardtail design, helped us design the Flō. The goal was to build the ultimate go-anywhere-in-the-world ride. With Joe’s frame geometry and Reynolds’ 631 air-hardened steel tubing, the Flō delivers a ride that’s incredibly smooth, yet lively. Fifteen minutes is all it takes to pack the Flō into a suitcase for easy travel. You’ll never have to leave your mountain bike at home again.
- Joe Murray designed Reynold’s steel frame.

"I'd praise it to heaven - even without the whole
folding feature. The fact that you can pack this bike
and take it on a plane without paying outrageous airline

"Since 1975 Dahon has lead the world in folding
bicycle design and manufacturing. The Flō includes input
from two-time NORBA Champ and original Hall of Famer Joe
Murray. Joe designed it using Tom Ritchey's BAB coupling
technology. BAB allows the frame to separate into two
pieces for easy packing. The BAB lugs are virtually invisible
and add only 95 grams to the weight of the frame. Other
than the small weight penalty, there are no other compromises
in performance or function."

"This is a ripping steel hardtail that's perfect for all day riding due to the compliant steel frame. She's also great for xc racing if that's your bag. Light (around 23lb) stable, and handles like a dream, crisp enough for the tightest and twistiest, but stable enough for descents more steep and technical than you oughtta be riding on a hardtail!
This is the sweetest hardtail I've ever thrown a leg over!"

"Folding bike specialist Dahon, with a little help from Ritchey and MTB pioneer Joe Murray, have created a great, looking well equipped MTB in the Flo, that almost completely disguises the fact you can break it in two and put it in a 80x70 cm carry case....The best 'folding' MTB on the market that still rides like a great hardtail."
