Folding bike fun not dampened by rain
The 6th Shenzhen Bicycle Festival was held recently in Longgang International Cycling Velo-drome, with DAHON as a proud sponsor. As well as various exhibitors and entertainments, cycle racing was the main attraction including a road duathlon, MTB motocross, parent & child combi event, and of course, the folding bike race.
In spite of light rain, turnout was good and spirits were high. For the folding bike race the dress code was casual and only folders under 24″ were allowed. Contestants were required to sprint once around the track to their folded bikes, before assembling and setting off for four laps. Heats lasted all morning and spectators kept up the buzz throughout. Congrats to the winner of the women’s championship! The victor was Huanjiao Yan, riding her DAHON Helios.
