"I am a perpetual traveler, keen cyclist and therefore a big fan of folding bicycles (of which I have 5) and especially Dahon (3 of them). This trip I started out with one of your older very compact models (steel 16" wheels, 3 spd SA hubgears.) They've done me proud, in many parts of the world including 1100 miles round India + Nepal. The ability to fold + store effortlessly on planes, trains + buses make them an ideal way of seeing the world on your own terms. After nearly 500 miles through Cambodia I chanced to find a newer Dahon going second hand in a bike shop for USD50 in Phnom Penh. She's a bit neglected but such an improvement in design I bought her + reluctantly left the old one behind in storage. Since then I've covered a further 600 + miles including more than 140 in a single day. Altogether I'm very impressed with the new generation Dahons."
