The DELTECH is a simple cable accessory which attaches at the bottom bracket and lower rear of the headset, but this simple addition brings huge strength and stiffness benefits to single beam folding bikes, extending frame lifespan and warranty.
In the latest news directly from Taipei, Taiwan, DAHON founder and CEO Dr David T. Hon shared that this unique piece of DAHON tech has been put through further testing and come up with phenomenal results: folding bikes fitted with a DELTECH cable outperformed some standard road and mountain bikes in pedalling efficiency!
DAHON writes, “DAHON folders with a DELTECH cable are faster than MTB’s, road bikes, and even other DAHON models…DELTECH is well known for its benefits in safety, longevity and loading capacity. But such pedalling efficiency is far more astounding”. Both lab testing and track test riding was employed in the study, and father of modern folding bikes and DAHON CEO Dr. David T. Hon is preparing a series of scientific articles to further explain this innovation and the test results.
New additions and upgrades to Sharing 360 program
Sharing 360 is DAHON’s technology sharing program, aimed at increasing green mobility by sharing patented parts and technology for use by brands and manufacturers worldwide. The CURL Ei4 captures the growing consumer need for smaller electric bicycles. The model utilises 11 patented technologies to provide users with an optimised cycling experience.
