DAHON Attends 24th Annual China International Bicycle & Motor Fair

From April 13th to April 16th DAHON set up camp in hall N1, booth 0426 at the 24th China International Bicycle & Motor Fair in the vast Shanghai New International Expo Center. The expo, more generally known as China Cycle, is one of the fastest-growing and largest in the industry, with more stands than any hardy show-goer could dream of exploring in the three allotted days.

China Cycle’s motto for 2014 was “Science & Technology Innovation and Quality Improvement”. 1,329 well-known manufacturers from 25 countries and regions exhibited with 247 domestic brands and 116 overseas companies. Overall growth in trade exhibitors was a healthy 10%.

DAHON’s booth used plenty of environmentally friendly materials and pollution-reducing measures, very much in line with our Turn a New Leaf drive and upcoming Green Award. As well as displaying DAHON’s own folding bikes, the new, official Ford lineup was on display and very well received. We also decided to best serve the multinational crowd this year with ‘three-dimensional’ product presentations and info, including Chinese, Japanese and English languages being very much appreciated. Finally, China Bicycle Association chairman Mr. Ma Zhongchao took time out of his busy schedule to pay a visit to DAHON’s booth in particular.
