31 Mar DAHON exhibits at Tapei Cycle Online 2021
DAHON has just finished exhibiting at Tapei Cycle Online 2021, as the first event of the global bike exhibition calendar it tends to be one of the first places where manufacturers reveal their newest designs for the next season. Taiwan itself is a symbolic location in the history of DAHON, it is the first location where its manufacturing and offices were situated outside of the USA.
Tapei Cycle is an important event for DAHON and with the effects of the global pandemic still carrying into 2021, DAHON decided to only exhibit there once it was announced that the physical show would be changed to a virtual exhibition so that DAHON could behave safely and responsibly in showcasing its latest models to the world.
This year DAHON was delighted to introduce its newest models HIT and Unio E9 in its latest line up to virtual booth visitors. Here is a quick summary of these bikes:
HIT: Take back the streets! DAHON conceived the HIT as an economical and ecological tool for our most recent global challenges. The Deltech cable is its safety secret weapon, upping the max rider weight limit to 300lbs (137kg) and the warranty to 10 years.
UNIO E9: This is an electric drive that gives great performance with 9 speeds and includes a 36V/200W motor with a 36V/8.7AH concealed Seatpost battery.
It was a successful virtual show connecting with the industry and DAHON looks forward to launching HIT and Unio E9 in the coming months.
