Dahon Hires New Product Development Duo in China

Duarte, California, January 21, 2013 – Dahon, the world leader in folding bicycles, has hired Americans Curt Davis and Greg Blake as new Directors of Product Development effective immediately.

Davis formerly worked for Cannondale Bicycles as Global Director of Product Management for Recreation and Urban bicycles, and has more than 15 years of industry experience. At Dahon, Davis will oversee the bicycle and accessory product lines and take an active role in strategic product marketing. He will use his vast experience to bring consumer focused, best in class and fashionable Dahon products to market.

Specializing in R&D for Dahon, Blake will also work closely with sales and marketing to identify consumer needs and explore new engineering concepts and technologies from a fresh vantage point.  Blake began his career at the age of 15 working in a bike shop and has spent the past 20 years with the Mongoose brand. He has developed nine patents for Pacific Cycle as well as the award-winning Schwinn Stingray and Spoiler models, the 2005 outdoor toy of the year.

Both avid cyclists and competitors, Davis and Blake bring a wealth of experience across all industry segments to add to Dahon’s success of folding technology while integrating new technologies and ways of thinking to better enhance the Dahon experience.
