DAHON Lead the Way at Taichung Bike Week with Parts and Accessories Program

World-leading folding bike brand exhibits at Taichung Bike Week for the first time this October

This October 16-18, DAHON will be showcasing their extensive range of components technology at the 11th edition of Taichung Bike Week. Held in various locations across Taichung, the annual show will see high-end bicycle brands from around the globe travel to the city to showcase the latest in cutting-edge bicycle technology and accessories.

Since the inception of the folding bike brand over 35 years ago, DAHON has continued to revolutionize the industry with its pioneering technologies. Now, DAHON has reached a missionary milestone in offering its technologies to the industry through its new Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Sharing Program.

‘Organized by the bike industry for the bike industry’, Taichung Bike Week is a specialist OEM event with a focus on bicycle components. This will be the first time the brand has exhibited at the annual show, and marks an important step in introducing the IPR Sharing Program to the industry.

Previously limited to the brand’s own products, the IPR Sharing Program will allow partners to access some of the innovative technology that has become synonymous with the brand. The extensive range of available technology can optimize the performance of regular bikes, as well as folding bikes, whilst also maintaining and exceeding all quality and safety expectations.

The technology available through the program includes a selection of exclusive components including the all-new Jaws hinge – sturdy teeth lock hydroformed frame shapes into place for a totally flush appearance that maintains strength and rigidity. The tough Jaw’s teeth and tidy mechanism make for rugged performance in a lighter, smoother design.

DAHON are seeking partners to join the IPR Program with which they are offering solutions to the varying challenges faced by the bicycle market through market-proven parts and accessories.

To find out more about the  IPR Sharing Program, please visit DAHON at booth A14 at Taichung Bike Week or email samantha@dahon.com or dennis@dahon.com (for Europe). Alternatively, you can register your interest in the program on the DAHON website.
