dahon anniversary bicycle wins folding bike race with tern

London, UK, June 13, 2012 – Dahon, the world leader in folding bicycles, debuted its 30-year limited edition carbon Dahon folding bike in winning style on Saturday by taking first place in the Tern Folding Bike Race as part of the sixth annual IG London Nocturne races in London. Over 12,000 spectators packed London’s inner-city streets to witness Dutchman Jeroen Janssen win the folding bike race on the road circuit. On the 30 year anniversary, Dahon designed the special limited edition bike to be the fastest, lightest and highest quality production folding bicycle in the world. “I’d never seen a bike like this before,” said Janssen, who races for the Raleigh-GAC cycling team in the UK. “The bike handled surprisingly well compared to my usual race bike and felt like a fast, solid package”.
