10 Sep SaddleDrunk – London to Paris by Folding Bike
24-hour cycle challenge for charity
We came across Stefano Dall’Aglio’s blog via Twitter, and not only is it a read we think any two-wheeled fanatic would thoroughly enjoy but he is also taking on London to Paris by folding bike in the name of charity. It’s happening this Friday! Details below on how to keep up with the ride and show your support:
“On Friday the 12th of September I and 2 other mad cyclists will be riding to Paris, trying to do it in less than 24 hours. I will be doing it on a foldable Dahon Bike with 20inch wheels.
We will be leaving Westminster Abbey at 5 pm at the sound of Saint Steven’s Tower Bells, then will ride the first 100km to Newhaven to catch the night ferry. Then we will be landing in Dieppe, France at around 5 am local time where we will be racing 180km to reach the Eiffel Tower.
If you like to keep us company comes along on Friday at 5 pm.
I would like to say thank you to the various supporters.
